Cukry Nyskie at the Fair in Canada!

Thousands of people, hundreds of conversations, dozens of business cards collected and one radio interview! This is how we can summarize Cukiery Nyskie’s participation at the fair in Toronto in a few words

The Sial Canada fair is one of the most important international events related to the food industry, which attracts thousands of professionals and experts from all over the world every year. This year, the event took place in a modern trade fair center in Toronto – Enercare Centre, providing participants and guests with unforgettable experiences and countless business opportunities. Our Cukry Nyskie Work Cooperative was proudly represented by a three-person team: President – Andrzej Chomyszczak, Emilia Job, responsible for marketing, and Karina Smolira from the Export Department. Together, they were a dynamic and committed force, ready to conquer the hearts and palates of visitors.

The fair lasted three days (9-11/05/2023) and was filled with exciting presentations, tastings and priceless business interactions. Our stand, prepared with attention to the smallest details, attracted the attention of visitors not only with its colors, but also with the appearance of the packaging of the products and their delicious taste that we had the pleasure of presenting. It’s hard to find similarly packaged cookies on Canadian shelves in so many types and flavors. Residents of North America claimed that they would be happy to buy our products if they saw them in the store. The compliments from guests and exhibitors who praised our products, colors and packaging designs are extremely encouraging for us.

The cookies that were most popular were, of course, new ones – DESERRO biscuits with vanilla flavoured filling or chocolate flavoured filling, CHRUPS wafers, especially the coconut clavoured and markizy cream sandwiches cocoa flavour with milky filling. This last type of cookies is extremely popular in North America, in most stores we can find the famous brand’s markings with an “O” at the very beginning.

During the fair, we had the opportunity to establish contacts with key people in the food industry and distributors from various countries, including Japan and China. Our presence at Sial Canada 2023 was an excellent opportunity to build valuable business relationships, strengthen your brand and reach a new Canadian audience. It is worth mentioning that this year we designed all promotional materials, banners and decorations ourselves, which attracted the attention of visitors and emphasized our uniqueness, giving the impression of a nice, family place where you can talk peacefully.

It is worth mentioning that on the second day of the fair, President Andrzej Chomyszczak gave a very interesting interview to the Polish broadcaster Radio 7 Toronto, in which he talked about our Cooperative, its offer and the great chances of entering the Canadian market. What’s more, we talked to the Consul General in Canada himself!

Our participation at Sial Canada 2023 was the next step in our dynamic development in the international arena. We are satisfied with the results of our actions, but we do not intend to stop there. The Export Department constantly contacts people who have shown interest in cooperation. We hope that the hard work of the entire team will result in significant contracts and export sales.

This is just the beginning of our expansion into new, promising markets outside Europe. The world of flavors and creativity is limitless – we invite everyone to discover new, sweet horizons with us at the next fair!
